MySongbook v5 offers advanced editing of song data in ChordPro format. The ChordPro format is a very loose text formatting standard that allows a song’s metadata to be embedded in song lyrics.
MySongbook vs ChordPro Editing
From View Mode, tap the “Edit” button at the bottom to enter the default MySongbook edit mode. There is now another edit mode that allows you to edit the whole song as a text file in ChordPro format. To access this, long press the Edit button.
Supported ChordPro items
- Title: {title}
- Author: {author}
- Key: {key}
- YouTube: various
- Section: {soc}, {start_of_chorus}, {sov}, {start_of_verse}, {meta Section}, also comments will try to be interpreted as sections.
- Tab sections: {tab}, other text TAB(S)
